However, I've bought a pair of nostril hair trimming scissors from Thailand (Tesco Lotus supermarket). It's inexpensive, small, safe, good and easy to use (provided you know how), less than THB100. I trim myself nowadays. It's good for trimming sideburns into shape after shaving too.

Sometimes outside without my equipment, I'd find a toilet to do that if the hair was getting too irritating. There's a sensation but it could painful till the eyes teared.
