I would think the condo itself has an insurance policy that will cover any damage to the concrete structure.

if concrete structure is cumpromised (basically irrepairable and condemned) no point paying more to insure it. may as well quickly sell and buy another with zero structural defects.

I used to think the MCST covered everything till I had to fix a spalling issue in my unit. That taught me to double-check what's insured. If you're in a landed property though, stuff like concrete cracks or foundation issues are really on you. I had a good experience getting repairs done through a masonry company dallas recommended on a forum—worked out smoother than I expected.

There is no insurance against terrible neighbours, be it HDB flat, condo or landed property.
