Anyone collect toys or model kits because of the design, quality and admiration in the manufacturing technique?

No:confused:

You will like this:D and consider picking up her hobby too:p

Why you look at her longkang before you finished reading what I wrote in post #1:confused::D

Me don't collect action figures as a hobby.

Can see that the char bor knows nuts about toys though I need more of her videos to confirm my suspicion. :(

Good hobby! I still hve my Tiger and Leopard tanks, Heinkel 111, Stuka dive-bomber, Me-109 and the Akagi aircraft carrier! From either Tamiya, Airfix or Hasegawa....hahaha! Linking up with my younger days.....

Now Evangelion from Damashii really interest me because of the articulation of the figure.

Am considering revoltech make also, which is easily repairable if joints are worn........just apply clear nail polish on the ball joints.

Now not much time to engage in the painting:(

But do you know where can I get Airfix paint (if they are still available)? I like their superfast drying. I need it paint my 1/1 scale darth vader helmet:) So that it will be close to the original.

It didn't catch on with me.....though of investing in them, but after seeing the amount of tin toys in the wet markets in prc. I dropped the idea.

But I thought of investing in toys to keep them in MISB and selling them afew years later. Good ones can get a few hundred percent returns....better than company stocks...not withstanding scraping from forex.

I used to collect tin toys, lol

1/6 scale from hottoys?

Must check out the bandai Perfect Grade rx78 gundam. It still amazes me the way the jap mould and combine 3 runner parts into one runner to make the articulated hand with movable fingers just like human hand....awesome.:p

I am more interested in the WW2 models...thks for the recommendation! No time to build now though! Wife always say "grow up lah, still meddling with all these masak"! Hahaha..

This is a good model. The owner is a british engineer, he is the role model builder for all involved in the hobby. He is a doing megatronics in the movie industry and owns ferraris:o

The below vid show the megatronics in the modified 1/6 scale dragon figure.

The below is the early tiger, a gem with modified parts that he made in a batch and offered to builders. Now no more liao. Another german guy - Roland Mann made the loading breach for the 88mm gun for the internal turrent out of metal also.

LOL......... Change wife:mad::D:D:D:D

Me too, am still interested in WWII. My favourite american tank is the "Struat"....very vintage looking with all the rivets on the armor. German tank is none other than the early tiger I and panzer IV.
