Interestingly, for men under 160 centimeters, financial stability drastically improves their success rate, jumping fourfold if their annual income exceeds 8.5 million yen.

The data also showed that couples most frequently fall within a height difference of 9 to 16 centimeters, suggesting women prioritize relative visual balance over raw height. Ultimately, the findings suggest that while initial physical benchmarks exist, economic stability and personal compatibility hold far greater weight for long-term partnership success.
