For military top brass who got where they were by apple polishing and screaming YES SIR to everything that their superiors demanded, the assume that things work the same way in the corporate world. The bringing in of kakis from their army days compound the problem. After giving orders in the SMRT they assume that everything will be done.

Previously, army officers were sent to schools as PE teachers but most of them left after a while.
