Ken Jeong probably has made more money as a comedian/actor than he would have as a Family Physician. So it is a good move for him.

In general physicians regardless of race are intelligent but chow kiasu kiasee self centered individualistic egoistic professionals herded to make the same sounds and make the same movements. Which is almost like a paradox.

We tend to use Pantoprazole most over here. back in sg they use Omeprazole more and I had never heard of Pantoprazole that was 2010 when I left.

I would usually offer option for Abdominal Ultrasound (mainly to exclude gallstones) and a UGI (upper GI series ie Barium swallow) to my patients. Up to them if they want to proceed. If we proceed and we find anything suspicious then refer to the GI specialist for EGD (in sg it is called OGD).
