actually ah boy, Singapore is already implementing progressive wage, some companies already started in cleaning sector. Starting September it will be implemented to all in cleaning sector, followed by security sector.

Progressive wage has started 2 yrs back. Many companies in many sectors not just the cleaning sector are in this progressive wage model.

Actually if your company didnt raise your pay for 10yrs. Dont you think its time to leave for greener pastures? These employers are unethical so why complain and not doing anything about it?

Well my silly friend right now singapore does not have either progressive or minimum wage. So the whole thread is a waste of time. Situation is very simple.how do you describe a worker whose wage has stagnated for ten years. The word is fucked big time

Every country is free to set a higher minimum wage. However, many retailers are against with the idea, as it could hurt their businesses. W. And did you know, grandad, that after blowing a lot of hot air, the proposed pay raise for security was rejected? After the cleaners pay was increase, holland village hawkers rental increased $600 per month? You only see one layer of the problem
