Local papers cover up death@Zouk?

HQ SCDF was having annual dinner and
dance at Zouk on 7 Jan 2011 at Zouk.
Free flow of drinks until 10pm. All hell
went loose and most of the NSFs were
drunk and some of them lied on the
floor passed out.

Shortly after, a drunk NSF Jordan Ng
fell into a canal near Zouk and died.

The question is why did SCDF choose
Zouk as Annual D and D when most of
NSFs are known to be troublemakers?

Why did Shin Min published the news
describing the NSF as “troubled drunk
army boy” drank too much and fell into
the canal instead of the truth?
Was there a need to cover up?

This is one of the reasons why Singapore is called a nanny state. Even going to a D&D requires a nanny to hold yr hand and make sure people don't get drowned. And we ask ourselves why we are so miserable.

Actually nothing wrong with throwing a party for NSFs. They have been robbed two years of their prime.

Went under the Vivi Bala YPAP "fusion" non-member guest group. Ho Ching wasn't there. Vivi Bala was like bodyguard escorting LHL around. Penny Low was the star dancer there. Some YPAP members won some kind of awards and got to dance with her centrestage. Very stingy, two free drinks only, more than that had to pay yourselves. Have to have a stick-on temp tatto of PAP logo on your arm at entry, IC shown and recorded. Got a few YPAP idiots brought "unlisted" guests, kena rejected.
