Appointment Of Group Financial Controller And Resignation Of Chief Financial Officer

The Board of Directors of Panpac Media Group Limited (the "Company") wishes to announce the appointment of Ms Ng Hwee Ling as Group Financial Controller of the Company with effect from 1 September 2003, in place of Ms Patricia Wong Hwee Ling, Chief Financial Officer, who has resigned on 1 September 2003. Ms Patricia Wong has been retained by the Group as a consultant to assist the Company on corporate matters including but not limited to tax, credit control and merger & acquisition activities.
Ms Ng Hwee Ling was formerly the Chief Accountant of the Company and her responsibilities included overseeing the finance and accounting functions of the Group. Prior to her appointment as Chief Accountant of the Company, she was the Finance Manager with a subsidiary, ZingASIA Pte Ltd, between October 1999 and May 2001. Ms Ng Hwee Ling has extensive auditing experience from her employment as an Audit Assistant with local auditing firm, JK Medora & Co, between August 1995 and September 1996 and with KPMG, an international auditing firm, where she first held the appointments of Graduate Assistant and then Audit Senior between October 1996 and October 1999. Her experience covers a broad range of industries and a wide array of accounting issues in connection with operational matters and mergers and acquisitions.
Ms Ng Hwee Ling holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University. She is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
