Yes, you are right that I did said that the bible is definitely NOT used as a history book. It is also NOT a poem for literature reading. It is NOT for science too. Because the MAIN objective is to get His chosen ones to be saved. The account is historically related like the great conqueror Nebuchadnezzar.

God appeared to him with only the hand writing on the wall if I'm not wrong. Can it be considered as a history ? Yes, if there is a written account of such an incident. But, the MAIN focus should always be about the saved souls because these people are living on this Earth. The bible is problem solver NOT a vain book. There are already so many vain books on Earth for vain knowledge. :cool: Why do you want more ?

Why do you want to believe what a Catholic priest or bishop said to a scientist ? Everyone has a different way of interpretation as long as your limited knowledge and faith can deviate your thinking process. That's why the bible also mentioned that we should not study genealogy or history. It is vain.

As long as the word is concerned, there is little need for the bible to be so-called precise or accurate. I find this is not so important as God has a thousand ways to answer my prayer or question. So, the book is actually one of the ways. ;)

One has to be focused. Whatever you do on Earth is vain. For you cannot live this life forever. Build what is worthy, not like a sandcastle on a beach. With time, the sandcastle will be washed away. This is vanity.

If you have studied OOP or Object Oriented Programming, then you will see what Bill Gates and I see in this structures. Many people thought this is the work of a random process called evolution or devolution. Whales do have hip bones for a different reason and it may not be a vestigial body part.

In OOP, you need to know CLASS. From that, it divided to PARENT CLASS and CHILD CLASS. One dog specie may be different from another dog. That is because the classes are different. Classes can NEVER come forth from evolution BUT design. :cool:

Evolution failed to provide the PROOF of transitions. That's why even the most ardent atheists attacked it in the year 2006. There is definitely nothing testable here. Observable ? Did you see any animal morphing to another specie ?

I don't understand why there are so many societies dealing with this kind of politics for Secularity and Naturalism. Evolution is not a science. It is a theory that is NOT proven. Atheism cannot exist logically. You have to admit that this is correct :

But through the theory of evolution, anything is possible. Since you can evolve to have vocal cords, snakes too can evolve to have vocal cords as well. Just as there are snakes that are blind, we can also find snakes that are not blind. There are snakes that have poison in their fangs and snakes without poison in their fangs etc.
