1. If the Bible is 100% factually accurate, then Galileo is wrong.

3. Therefore the Bible is not 100% factually accurate.

8. “Leftover” body structures are not evidence for evolution.
Evolutionists point to vestigial organs (supposedly “leftover” body structures with no know function) as evidence of evolution. However, it’s impossible to prove that an organ is useless, because there’s always the possibility that a use may be discovered in the future. In fact, over 100 organs formerly thought of as vestigial are now known to perform essential functions. Scientists continue to discover uses for such organs and only a small number are still considered vestigial. It is increasingly clear that vestigial organs are not the result of evolution but simply examples of scientific ignorance. It’s also worth noting that even if an organ were no longer needed (e.g., eyes of blind creatures in caves), it would prove devolution not evolution. Proponents of evolution need to provide examples of developing organs that are not yet fully functional but can be shown to be increasing in complexity with each succeeding generation. No such examples exist.

According to creationist thought, an intelligent Creator must have had a purpose, or design, in each element of His creation. Thus all features of organisms must be functional. For this reason creationists view adaptations as support for their position. However, nonfunctional, imperfect, and even maladaptive structures are expected if evolution is true, especially if a change in an organism's environment or way of life has rendered them superfluous or harmful.Organisms display many such features at both the morphological and molecular levels.

If an organ or structure is vestigial in the sense that it has no use, whereas at one time in history of that line of organisms it did have a use, then sure, it’s undergone devolution. However, devolution, (if we accept the term devolution), would count as part of the whole genetic modification and consequent natural selection mechanism of evolution. In other words, devolution is a part of the Theory of Evolution. There are for example lizards, which have vestigial legs, because those lizards are evolving to a way of life and locomotion similar to snakes . . .

In terms of Noble Prize winners for science, the Jews even though have small population (in relations to other races) dominated the awards. Jews, as many us knew, are strong believers of the Old Testament and even till this day, many orthodox Jews strongly subscribed to the teaching of the Torah and many are practicing what the Torah teaches them.

So, get your facts right!

Today, many Jews accept the science of evolutionary theory and do not see it as incompatible with traditional Judaism, thus endorsing theistic evolution. :) :)

The Rabbinical Council of America (RCA) has "maintained that evolutionary theory, properly understood, is not incompatible with belief in a Divine Creator, nor with the first 2 chapters of Genesis." Prominent Orthodox rabbis who have affirmed that the world is older, and that life has evolved over time include Israel Lipschitz, Sholom Mordechai Schwadron (the MaHaRSHaM) (1835–1911), Zvi Hirsch Chajes (1805–1855) and Abraham Isaac Kook (1865–1935). These rabbis proposed their own versions of theistic evolution, in which the world is older, and that life does evolve over time in accord with natural law. :)

Islam views of Evolution

The Ahmadiyya Movement are one of the few denominations in Islam that universally accept evolution and actively promote it.[84][dead link] Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Fourth Caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has stated in his magnum opus Revelation, Rationality, Knowledge & Truth that evolution did occur but only through God being the One who brings it about. It does not occur itself, according to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The Ahmadis do not believe in Adam as the first human on earth but merely as the first prophet to receive revelation by God on earth.

Islam views of Evolution II

While Muslim culture generally has a high degree of respect for science (and do not necessarily follow the 6,000 year-old earth Creationist belief promoted by many Christian Creationists), some feel that evolution does contradict the Q'ran. A 2007 study found that levels of support for evolution in Islamic countries were generally low (16% of Indonesians, 14% of Pakistanis, 8% of Egyptians, and 11% of Malaysians accept it).
Nonetheless, evolution is taught in high schools in many Muslim countries, and science foundations in 14 Muslim countries recently signed on to a statement in support of the teaching of evolution. :)

Ten Major Flaws of Evolution - Revised
By Randy Alcorn, Jim Darnall

9. Evolution is said to have begun by spontaneous generation—a concept ridiculed by biology.
When I was a sophomore in high school, and a brand new Christian, my biology class spent the first semester discussing how ignorant people used to believe that garbage gave rise to rats, and raw meat produced maggots. This now disproven concept was called “spontaneous generation.” Louis Pasteur proved that life only comes from life—this is the law of biogenesis. The next semester we studied evolution, where we learned that the first living cell came from a freak combination of nonliving material (where that nonliving material came from we were not told). “Chemical Evolution” is just another way of saying “spontaneous generation”—life comes from nonlife. Evolution is therefore built on a fallacy science long ago proved to be impossible.

Evolutionists admit that the chances of evolutionary progress are extremely low. Yet, they believe that given enough time, the apparently impossible becomes possible. If I flip a coin, I have a 50/50 chance of getting heads. To get five “heads” in a row is unlikely but possible. If I flipped the coin long enough, I would eventually get five in a row. If I flipped it for years nonstop, I might get 50 or even 100 in a row. But this is only because getting heads is an inherent possibility. What are the chances of me flipping a coin, and then seeing it sprout arms and legs, and go sit in a corner and read a magazine? No chance. Given billions of years, the chances would never increase. Great periods of time make the possible likely but never make the impossible possible. No matter how long it’s given, non-life will not become alive.

The spontaneous generation that Pasteur and others disproved was the idea that life forms such as mice, maggots, and bacteria can appear fully formed. They disproved a form of creationism. There is no law of biogenesis saying that very primitive life cannot form from increasingly complex molecules. :):)

Idiotic Statement Again

The bible is not a history, a literature nor a science book. It is NEVER meant to be that way. If it does, then it has defeated the main purpose for the word "salvation". ;)

Toronto does not the intelligence to understand such complex form of design in this Holy Book; so, what can he say more to prevent more weak atheists from converting to deism and agnosticism ? Tell me.

You yourself had admitted that you are an agnostic or a deist. Don't be hypocrite and a liar.

Is He Confused ?

So, I guess he must be rather confused. :D

1. I want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts; the rest are details.

2. Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.

3. God does not play dice with the universe.

bro Conqueror,
If your points are indeed valid about the bible, then how would you explain why Galileo was persecuted for heresy and contradicting the bible? Galileo would have been prosecuted for other reasons not scriptural related.

There are many historic legends in the Old Testament, why are you claiming the bible is not history book?

It is a know fact that the bible contains accounts of creation -earth, lives and universe in the book of Genesis and other books. This is the belief shared by most mainstream christians, are you trying to say you belief is otherwise and different from them?

There are still bible believers that believe the earth is flat despite overwhelming evidence that is visible by human eyes. Another group with the Young-Earth Creationist position. And they are basing their believe on the bible!!

So, according to you, Galileo is still wrong after 300 years and what you are claiming are nothing but the truth??

The bible is just another storybook with taking snake , living in a fish stomach for days , walking on water , turning water to wine , a ship that carry millions of different animals , reptiles , insects ...ect . Generally people don't believe in fairy tales because they are just whimsical stories in a book with no evidence to prove their writing . But some Some religious scholars think it's purely allegorical!

Re: Idiotic Statement Again

" A conflict arises when a religious community

insists on the absolute truthfulness of all statements

recorded in the Bible. This means an intervention on the

part of religion into the sphere of science;

this is where the struggle of the Church against

the doctrines of Galileo and Darwin belongs

Through the reading of popular scientific books I soon reached the conviction that much in

the stories of the Bible could not be true. The consequence was a positively fanatic orgy of

freethinking coupled with the impression that youth is intentionally being deceived by the state

through lies; it was a crushing impression. Mistrust of every kind of authority grew out of this

experience, a skeptical attitude toward the convictions that were alive in any specific social

environment - an attitude that has never again left me, even though, later on, it has been

tempered by a better insight into the causal connections.

Re: Idiotic Statement Again

The further the spiritual evolution of mankind advances, the more certain it seems to me that

the path to genuine religiosity does not lie through the fear of life, and the fear of death,

and blind faith, but through striving after rational knowledge.

Re: Idiotic Statement Again

Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.
