Crows attacking the friendly neighborhood lizard, whole tail also gone.

The Malayan Water Monitor is a fearsome reptile with sharp teeth. It probably lost its tail to another lizard and not crows.
 
The PAP ministers are "always monitoring"; it is reactive, out of touch, and slow to act on rising costs and cost-of-living issues.
