Because the PAP is selfless; they take the lousier pension for themselves and give the superior CPF to Singaporeans.

Pension scheme ended in the early or mid 90s if I recall correctly. But if you are rightly connected with the MIWs, it still exists. They place you in GLCs and even if drastic error made, can still stay on. Or, be posted elsewhere.

last noted the withdrawal of the pension scheme had a rather negative impact on the Civil Service, especially so in the teaching fraternity.
either see a lot of old teachers or very young ones, what ever happened to those in the mid 40s?
