The mortality rates are little different from the seasonal flu or dengue mortality rates. 0.2% for the younger chaps is no different from flu. 3% to 8% for slightly older chaps is also no big deal as many of these old codgers would either die of chronic diseases or wind up as road kill anyway.
The very last category is totally meaningless as old age would whisk these buggers away as fast as any influenza would.
I don't fear these microbes -- only the disruption to business that they potentially bring. In a sense, it is my clients' reactions that i fear more
Wrong Sam.Good to see that there are one or two people in this forum coming to their senses.
Let me tell you this whole saga is driven by politics rather than science. The politicians have no choice but to issue dire warnings and impose quarantines because if they don't they'll be blamed for every single death that occurs regardless of the circumstances or the age of the victim.
It's the same in all areas of life when something new comes along. That i why PMDs received such a hostile reception despite the fact that it is cars that kill the majority of pedestrians. However the politicians escape unscathed from the road accident death toll figures because cars pre-date present day politics so being run over by a car is just one of those things that happens in life. Besides no driver is going to campaign for measures that will affect themselves.
Wrong Sam.
Common symptoms of flu are fever, runny nose, headache and need rest.
Common symptoms of covid are coughs and difficulty breathing and need ventilators.
That's why none died in SG because we have enough facilities. Not the case for early days Wuhan, rural Italy, Iran, UK etc.
You diseased chink you. Stay away!I don't fear these microbes -- only the disruption to business that they potentially bring. In a sense, it is my clients' reactions that i fear more
It's still soylent Green. Just done differently. Still same resultsthis way of culling those over 69 will render the "soylent green" solution useless and irrelevant.
What you have suggested is not politically correct.I honestly don't understand why so much effort is put into containing or preventing pandemics when they are actually the perfect solution to the issue of climate change.
There are too many people on this earth and the figure is unsustainable. Nature has a way of moderating many factors and the human population was kept to manageable numbers for hundreds of thousands of years by the very forces that we are now trying to neutralize.
The climate activists should go after Bill Gates and point out to him that preventing pandemics is not going to help us it is going to do the exact opposite. It will plunge the world into an unlivable cauldron of heat, carbon dioxide and noxious emissions which will then kill all of us.
nobody wants to makan this type of virus-infused soylent green. It's still soylent Green. Just done differently. Still same results
I mean the process of soylent GREEN as in euthanasia. Soylent GREEN...its for peoplenobody wants to makan this type of virus-infused soylent green.
Tat is the issue with the greens. Kpkb soo much about the environment n yet support irresponsible breeding. Ppl are the main cause of environmental pollution. Yet dont want to cut down the popn. Stupidity indeedI honestly don't understand why so much effort is put into containing or preventing pandemics when they are actually the perfect solution to the issue of climate change.
