Can eat don’t waste!
A 22-year-old Singaporean woman, Mabel Kee, known online as mabelkeeee and the owner of a home-based lash studio called Yukilash, posted a 49-minute YouTube video on July 15 titled "How I Found Out My Fiancé of 7 Years Was Cheating on Me." The video quickly went viral, amassing over 381,000 views and around 1,000 comments as of the time of writing. Screenshots from her Instagram Story were widely shared, with viewers as far as Australia and Dubai reposting them, amplifying the story internationally.
The conflict began after her fiancé insisted on attending a "boys' night" at a club, which led to arguments and a period of distance between them. He subsequently suggested ending their engagement. Suspicion grew when Mabel Kee used his iPad and discovered a note comparing her to another woman. She also noticed repeated trips to a location in Hougang referred to as "Block ABC," which he claimed were visits to a friend but were allegedly used to meet the other woman. His friend reportedly helped cover up these activities, and he repeatedly claimed he was with this friend to maintain the story.
Mabel Kee used Grab records, messages, and social media activity to uncover further evidence. She found that he had spent time at the other woman's residence, booked a staycation for her birthday, and consistently lied about his whereabouts. Confrontations with the other woman initially produced denials, though the collected evidence suggested otherwise. Throughout the relationship, he allegedly attempted to gaslight Mabel Kee, denying wrongdoing, fabricating explanations, and minimizing the seriousness of their issues, all while maintaining the engagement. Mabel Kee documented a detailed timeline showing repeated dishonesty and manipulation over the course of the seven-year relationship.
The video has sparked widespread online discussion about trust, manipulation, and accountability in long-term relationships, drawing praise for her transparency and courage. In her YouTube description, she asked viewers not to direct hate toward the other parties, emphasizing that her goal was simply to share her personal experience and truth.
