communist is making china strong???

Democracy is white man's system. Non-whites do not know how to use the system properly or will end up distorting it into a form familiar to themselves.

Other than Japan, most of the people in Asian countries are not exposed to the system enough to even understand what democracy really means. Once in power, they will simply twist it to their benefit and the rest of the poor suckers remain clueless.

I just met a Taiwanese and he told me that because of Ah Bian party,Taiwan lost 8 years of progress!I told him if you want this, you will lose that and you cannot find in this World that you want everything!

just 8 years? they are still fighting amongst themselves like 打斗鸡, right? :D

My PRC friend always tell me he felt the Communist Party of China had no Legitimate Mandate to rule China because when China was fighting the War of Resistance Against Japan, Mao and CCP refused to fight, stood idle and rather watch the Peoples of China getting slaughtered by Japanese Army.

Taiwan lost 8 years of progress because Ah Bian was a lousy President and corrupt, it has nothing to do with Republic of China System of Government.

i think all of you got it wrong. CORRUPTION WILL EXIST NO MATTER THE GOV IS DEMOCRACY OR COMMUNIST. the argument and comparison will never stop on who is more corrupted and it is pointless.

the only way to have a strong country is like what 黄飞鸿said in the movie 广开民智! then your people will be wise enough to monitor the system. people should be educate with teaching of 儒家to understand what is the standard for good gov and of cos vote them out if they are not doing a good job.

I take a slightly different view from you.

I think Taiwan in this case is very blessed to have transition two rounds,KMT-DPP-DPP -KMT,this is very difficult or as MM LKY predicted :It is not possible for a Chinese society anywhere in the world to have this kind of peaceful transition.Democracy just does not work for the Chinese race.

Not only that, they have a first hand experience to see highest level illegal corruption and how the law & order of a proper democratic system can work under rule of law and rule by laws.

It may sound ridiculous but it is not easy to have such opportunity, personally I beleve that the transition in Singapore if it deos come, will be much much more difficult, and we may not have the opportunity to watch a real time, rule of law in practice ,rules by law at the highest level.

It is my personal view that it is difficult even to have proper rule of law,and rule by laws in practice at the political level in our Singapore.

agree with you, very good points.

Taiwanese are proud that they are the first Chinese society to have a fully functioning democracy. They like to use 华人地区 and include Singapore in that. To them and the rest of the world, Singapore is a manipulated one-party state, political system no different from the likes of Myanmar.

I don't agree with your last statement, that the Taiwanese don't think well of SG.

If you watch 2100 Tao Xin Wen on TVBS, there's this political commentator called Yang Wenjia, who used to be a very hardcore green supporter. After Ah Bian's corruption, he started condemning the green side on TV whenever they said or did despicable things. He's very intelligent, articulate, fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese, probably English too, as he frequently uses English words to illustrate his points. But twice, I nearly fell off my chair when he praised LKY specifically and SG in general.

The Taiwanese politicians are always also using SG as an example when they tried to promote themselves and their plans for their cities. Kaoshiung to be like SG or Taichung to be like SG are frequently heard pre-election battlecries. They also frequently talk about how well run SG is.

Yes, they admire SG economic success and "efficient" government administration but disapproved of our political climate which probably reminded them of KMT in the 1980s.

Sick of the inductive reasoning of Sinkie sheep e.g democracy didn't improve lives in Philippines, therefore democracy is useless. Next, they'll tell you education is useless because there are schools in impoverished Africa.

Tell me who got away with tampered evidences from China nowadays ?

They shot their corrupted serving ministers and tell me who else have done that ?

==================

Of course, there are those big fishes that got away but when in the third country, the said country will come out with all sorts of amnesties because those loots that were being brought were in the billions of dollars. That was the reason, in Australia, Chinese secret service resorted to kidnapping those perpertrators that ran away from the Chinese Law and send them back via shipping containers. Bon Voyage...

You don't seem to understand Indian mentality and how India works.

Wow keling mentality is fucked up.

But as usual someone will still praise them to the skies or just claims how much potential they have despite not having the results to show and curse china to hell.

A keling only needs to improve 0.01% to get praise but a chinese needs to improve 99.9% before someone will complement him grudgingly.

Pet dogs need praises and compliments to motivate them to do tricks. Chinese just do it for their own purposes and let the results speak for themselves.

One big problem that amicable President Mah should learn fr MM LKY is not to underpay his ministers.

The Taiwanse ministers are badly under paid.

If I recall correctly, President Mah is only drawing a low S$200,000 per year, too little.

Average Taiwanese are of much better quality than today's average PRCs,especially after 50 years of Japanese education and industrial/commercial system, subsequently deep USA influence, opportunites abound for them in PRC today.

Who cares what those diewanese ministers feel about Spore? That's not a indication that they're a progressive, shining example of a model chinese leadership of any philosophy.

The fact is, diewanese ministers're pathetically uncouth, low-class devious shits & are the prime examples of the population they represent. Have you ever seen the diewanese parliament in action? They put the rowdiest triad-run chinese fishmarket to shame with all that screaming, punching, kicking & hair pulling.

Lets not kid ourselves, the diewanese ministers admire the papee's absolute control over the populace & not the Sporns or Sporn culture itself. That Spore appears to be "successful" on paper, is icing on the cake for these snakes & an inspiration for them to adopt a totalitarian regime by stealth.

If you go further by tuning into their game-shows or radio talkshows - you'll see that the common diewanese & their stars disdain Sporns. Although fucking envious of our ability to converse in better english than them, they try to tear us down by mocking our accent. 50% of the diewanese suffer from delusions of being the "true" chinese race, while the other half're jap-wannabes.

Now the diewanese economic "success" was due to the hand-me-down infrastructure from the japs' colonial times & its "continued" success is derived from the contrived western angmo patronage just to provide a counterbalance & irritation to the prc communist threat. diewan would have become irrelevant as soon as the communist gahmen collapses & china becomes ripe for the pickings by the angmos.

Correction: Democracy does not work for the asian race because we are not as tribalistic as the angmos. Democracy is an advanced form of tribalism.
