Lets be fair to the Indians. They were only told in Jan this year that the Game will be held in Delhi. There is also a labour shortage and coupled with the fact that there no tertiary institutions to push out qualified professionals such as engineers. The world should applaud the Indians for managing to build a footbridge. Its collapse due to a single loose pin is understandable. Prior to this no one has built a bridge. Note the Indian govt's resolve in helping Somali piracy. Its immaterial that on their first foray they mistook a Thai fishing vessel as a pirate's mothership and blew it to smittereens. The fact that they are prepared to open fire speaks volumes of a determined people. Errors are just part of the equation.
These are just some outstanding examples of the Indian achievement on a world stage. Please add more.
