Notice that the PAP regime becomes super triggered and defensive when a foreign news source publishes an unflattering article about the Oxley House or the Ridout Road incidents.

If the folks at SPH/CNA etc were real journalists instead of party mouthpieces, these kind of articles would be written and published regularly. But a totalitarian regime needs an aura of infallibility, real journalism would shatter that narrative.
