30米可变船型双体登陆艇的“变”在于它可以是一艘“平底”船,货物上船方便;但这种“平底”船开起来慢,为了让船开起来快点,这艘船纵向中部的船底就设计为能够上升,变成一艘在速度上优势明显的双体船。

我军目前装备了“野牛”、“野马”等多款先进的气垫登陆艇,但这些登陆艇为了速度,都是通过气垫船体和相对推力较大的发动机获得高速度。但此类船只也存在噪音大、恶劣海况下作战受限等缺陷。

30米可变船型双体登陆艇长30米、宽9.8米,展出的模型携带了2艘59式坦克。相关图册则显示,该船也能携带3辆步战车。这大致体现了该船的运载能力。

This year, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation has brought 071E amphibious dock landing ships, three-body frigates and other types of combat ships and coastal patrol ships, and the spectrum is complete. Today, the Northern Defence Service (WeChat ID: Sinorusdef) takes everyone to a look at their new concept combat ship, the 30-meter variable-hull twin-body landing craft.

The "change" of the 30-meter variable-hull twin-body landing craft is that it can be a "flat-bottom" ship, and the cargo is convenient for boarding; but this "flat-bottom" ship is slow to open, in order to let the ship drive faster, the ship The longitudinal mid-ship bottom is designed to rise and become a catamaran with a distinct speed advantage.

Our army is currently equipped with a number of advanced air-cushion landing crafts such as "Bison" and "Wild Horse". However, these landing crafts have achieved high speed through the hover hull and the engine with relatively large thrust for speed. However, such vessels also suffer from shortcomings such as high noise and limited combat under adverse sea conditions.

The 30-meter variable-hull twin-body landing craft is 30 meters long and 9.8 meters wide. The model on display carries two 59-type tanks. The relevant atlas shows that the ship can also carry three stepping vehicles. This roughly reflects the carrying capacity of the ship.

This thing is going to land thousands of PLA Tanks & missile TEL trucks rapidly into Taiwan, and @ cazy speed.

It is WATER JET PROPULSION CATAMARAN that can speed over 50 knots like this guy:




It has same layout for rapid Payload boarding and landing like this guy:




And it transform into this for shallow water beach landing and can easily board / land heavy payload like barges!


The center payload platform can be raised / lower by over 2 meters! Elevated for speed. Lower for boarding / landing operations.

Tokkong! Time to conquer Taiwan! Too easy now! Nothing can stop PLA!
 
I think the PLA got it right. The air-cushioned hovercrafts are over-killed and too expensive. Also slow to mass produce.

The hovercraft is needed if there is a lot of marshland, wetland, m&d, reeds, snow, thin ice, etc. Which both boats and land (wheel/track) vehicles can move nicely, yes, than the hovercrafts are the best there.

But to land Taiwanese cost not need to over kill.

Taiwan cost line typically like this. Put a bit of combat engineer's bridges over the Tetrapod obstetrical can land any type of troops / equipment rapidly.

How difficult is can it be to land PLA in Taiwan like this? Sap Sap Water. After hitting Taiwan with Rocket Army missiles and long range rockets, landing will face no resistance.
