Serangoon Gardens during my primary school days had a ah-neh 2nd-hand bookshop (next to old Paramount cinema) where I indulge in my comics collection.

I remember watching Christopher Lee Dracula there...really brings back lots of memories...and the roti stall at the corner...went back there a few months and couldn't recognize the place anymore...they really commercialize the whole area..

There're 2 stalls selling ham jim peng, oyster cake, prawn fritters.....

the oyster stall was very popular...i think the stall is still around ?....the carrot cake stall is still very good with prawns!
