A BRAZEN underwear thief in China was caught on camera entering a neighbour's flat via the balcony, stealing her underwear and later returning the garments.
The incident took place at a residential block in Hefei, and was photographed by a netizen called Xiao Ding.
In an interview with sina.com.cn, Xiao Ding said the thief, in his 20s, had entered the neighbour's house by prying open the window with a pole and climbing in via the balcony.

Xiao Ding first thought it was a case of burglary, but the thief reappeared into view ten minutes later empty-handed and climbed back into his own flat.
Suprisingly, the thief then reached out from his window and helped himself to a few pieces of underwear which were left out to dry on the neighbour's balcony.
In a sordid turn of events, the thief - with a panty in his mouth and a bra in his hand - then masturbated for the next couple of minutes, before returning the undergarments to the clothes line.
Xiao Ding later made a police report with the photographs he had taken. Authorities interviewed by sina.com.cn also confirmed that such an incident took place, but declined to reveal the identity of the offender.
