so first i chanced upon the open air getai here near maxwell food centre.

Golden tooth temple was holding a ceremony so of course checked it out

From maxwell road

inside the temple they were holding some ceremony ushering the new year



They moved everywhere from the front to the back of the temple and finally upstairs on the 3rd floor

finally they held some prayers at the back of the temple

They were praying to this

ppl were lining at the front to pray to this small statue

The monks go upstairs to continue their ceremony and curious tourists follow them including a number of ang mohs.

Don't know about that. Saw that it was open and had so many ceremonies and idols everywhere i just went in. Btw i have been there before when it wasn't new year and i don't think they allow you access to the back only the main entrance.

Surprised that this buddhist temple has so many non buddhist elements in it.
