Sure, entrance is free. But they have a gift shop and various other 'donations for good causes' packaged in overpriced items.

I think the exhibition hall is also rented out from time to time.

I have explored that place many times. It is primarily a commercial entity, the religious worship and chanting part happens to be something they do on the side.
