Chinese netizens outraged over public dog skinning
</td></tr></tbody></table>A Chinese netizen going by the moniker Sally claimed to have witnessed a group of men killing and skinning a dog in front of a shop in Pudong, Shanghai. She said in Chinese on goumin wang, a dog-friendly forum: "I saw it with my own eyes... Hearing this dog's heartrending cries was truly too brutal!" She claimed to have taken the photos posted with her cell phone. Her posting, which has since been re-posted by others on at least one popular China forum, has drawn strong reaction from fellow netizens. Most appeared outraged and several called for police to take action. One forumer, going by the name Xiaolin, said: "Barbarians, we haven't gotten to the point of starvation where it is necessary to kill on the streets to eat meat, have we?"
