2009年美浓轮泰史北上，他的机会确实多了不少，却也和各种各样的抗日剧结下不解之缘。在《战火中青春2》《先锋1931》《光荣大地》《那年来了鬼子兵》等30余部影视作品中，美浓轮泰史无一例外地饰演日本军人。
