Pakistan and China have very close relationship as China need Pakistan to be its buffer zone between India and China. On the other hand, Pakistan has relied on China's support in its military conflicts with India for decades.

<style></style>US National Archives, were released in April 2001; they are only the tip of an iceberg of very rich material in the Nixon papers. The new releases make it possible to publish here for the first time, a nearly-complete record --some pages are still classified--of the historic talks between Zhou Enlai and Henry Kissinger during the secret trip to China in July 1971 organized by Pakistan.

President Richard Nixon and his National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger encouraged China to move militarily against India during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, and guaranteed that the US would support Beijing in the event of Soviet retaliation.......http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=aeb_1235487815

UNtil the mid-ching dynasty..china was the most poerful nation on earth...this renaissance will see that china will match and mostlikely exceed the military capability of the US..no doubt at all....
will there be a conflict between US and China...yes..within 20 years ..US will try a proxy war with china for sure...look at the Tibetan and Uigher excile leaders...all funded by CIA via the senates off-shoot organisations...
If you look at history..the Angmo is a recent power of the last 300 years....if you look at 5 thousands years of history...china shall be the super-power soon for the next 500 years or so...
singapore took the wrong side??no worry...MM said recently ..he always has an exit plan B...the Russian are giving sinkapus hardtime via their Indo-proxy in Indo parliment....so Sinkapus will have to change alliance gradually ....right? see MM recent visit to Moscow.....
But from the ground info in china...deep down the mind of the PRC power centre..sinkapus is not trusted..period.

Our main possible military threat comes from China in the event of China-US conflicts. We will have no where to run.

What a powerful performance !!!

Chairman Mao says 5 st*rs. He is a very happy corpse,

beyond the colorful extravaganza, lies deep underlying problems with officials corruptions and marginalized citizens...of 1 billion....

what it means? a time bomb waiting to explode..

the commander in chief of the parade was known in CHN blogs to be the potential coup de tat because he was bypassed for promotion...

Someone asks me whether I feel "proud" to be a Chinese after witnessing such massive demonstration of strength by China. I say, I am more worried for Singapore. ...Singapore will be one of the primary target of China basically because we are the service, support and supply base for the US Far East fleets, which include nuclear aircraft carriers and submarines.
Goh Meng Seng

That's why MM Lee is great in the sense that in spite of hosting US nuclear submarine and nuclear aircraft from the Seventh Fleet, we are able to maintain very cordial relationship with China - not the day when MM Lee was called the "Running Dog" - but more of "Comrade" nowadays.

No matter how much you detest MM Lee for the problem he causes the opposition, Singapore is thankful for this master tactician. Rest be assured that China won't bomb Singapore. Would China want to bomb its own citizens - in Singapore?

Haha, now you know why MM Lee is inviting more Chinese to settle here? That's a master stroke. (hehehe, he can always hold them hostage!!!)
