I think u guys all got it wrong.I have been paying since my daughter is 2 hrs old....now she is 9.

Why no one ask the maintainence amount is only $350?

Firstly, he is only asking when the payments should stop. There is no indication that he is trying to siam or complaining that it's too much or unfair.

Secondly, I remember his story from sometime back. Based on what he said, his story is rather sad. Of course, we haven't heard the other side, but just read his side first. He has been a member of this forum since Feb 2009, but he has only 29 posts, all on the same topic.

You are right, unfortunately TS wrote too little and too brief and this is such a touchy subject that when most of us saw this post, our emotions flared up too fast.

If TS can show that the ex wife is neglecting or ill-treating the child to the extent of affecting the welfare / well-being of this child, for what ever reason, he can get the court to vary the original order on custody and/or care & control.

It's either maintenance for the wife, or maintenance for the child / children. The word alimony is never used in the courts and court documents here.

Talk about Karma. You guys remember one of the forummers here whose wife left him for a German and took his daughter to Germany. One day, he got a call that his wife passed away in a car accident. He happily went over to collect his daughter and gave a blow by blow account.

well time pass..and my daughter now is 9yrs old.....

she is getting older....at least now she can uses facebook or msn with me..but of course, she cant let the other side of the family knows abt it....still need to do it secretly.....

i posted my question earlier on...cos i was clearing my cabinate and i saw my old divorced papers, i was wondering when is the last yr of payment but it did not state at all...thats why i asked in this forum.

every friday 7pm and return 8pm on sat

right now, its better, as she is in pri school..at least i got 1/2 of the school holiday fully....

well, i am living better than before

Wow bro you got the shorter end of the stick compared to me....initially i only got sat 1pm to 6pm...but later relaxed it from friday evening till sat nite...and also CNY first day she goes round visitation with me...but now on the contrary it is not the mom that stopping her from meeting me but rather now that she is her teens....she got her own activities all filled up and hardly have any time for me..:(:(
