...by waiting for 15 minutes for bus service 155 bound for East Coast Road. The ride lasted 20 minutes. His conclusion: "Generally, they were quite happy with the off-peak services, but they feel the buses are too crowded during peak periods."

Looking at the picture accompanying the story, I take it that he took it off-peak, around 10-30am if I am not wrong, as I was driving and saw him and his motley boot-lickers walking along Telok Kurau Road.

I think it is important that Mr Chong should not take the words of lesser mortals at face value; I mean, these ARE lesser mortals afterall. To complete his research, perhaps he and his team try (yes, try) boarding the buses at peak hours and then give us his comments.

Otherwise, post-May 7, he may not take another bus ride until 5 years later.

The hypocrisy of it all makes me sick.

If you really want to take public transport, take it with no kah kias, during peak period and incognito and squeeze with the "lesser mortals".
Like that, you might as well be riding in a stretch limo.
