Conditions for Remission

Under the respective FTAs, Nationals or Permanent Residents of the following countries will be accorded the same Stamp Duty treatment as Singapore Citizens:

Nationals and Permanent Residents of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland
Nationals of the United States of America

How to Apply

To apply for the remission, please submit a cover letter and the supporting documents to:

Commissioner of Stamp Duties
55 Newton Road
Revenue House
Singapore 307987

The ABSD payment can be withheld pending the approval of the remission. The BSD is payable upon stamping.
