Then how to clean a car's cd-player that is skipping?

send it for servicing ............if old player then buy the cleaner lor...........if new and expensive then better don't.......

sometimes it's the transport mechanism not the lens...........

is it something with a brush on a cd and need to use some chemical solution on the brush? ummm...i ever use it before. but that's 2 decades ago.
