at that time pre-war post-war bo pian almost all glasses were round. nowadays with so much fashion sporting round glasses is so old school and fucked up retro.

i also have presbyopia but progressive lens are too expensive.

So I go lenskart make two pairs of astig glasses and two pairs of reading glasses (one for home, one for office), all for about $300.

I learnt from Tik tok that actually many chiobu wear disposable diaper when they take long journey coach to genting.

I made my progressive lens with frame also $300.
Having 2 specs is so inconvenient.
Some people I know does that as they cannot get used to progressive lens.

That's what my thread was about, to go for small round frame to make it as comfortable as possible.

The reason why the very first spec lens was rounded and why camera uses round lens is clear.
Round provide the best focal point.

I say give up fashion style for purpose is a better choice.

First, thank for sharing . Should i dumped my expensive Hoya square lenses? You made me remember about my optician when she not wearing contact lenses, her spectacle is rounded, look very oldie and no fashionable. I think most people will not pick rounded frame before reading this thread.

Yes, dump all the expensive progressive lens in the market and go for a round shape frame with a basic progressive lens. You will never look back.
My overall vision is much better than my old expensive lens on a long rectangular frame.
