Discarded items left in an HDB common corridor. Tanjong Pagar residents will find students knocking on their doors to spread the message of being gracious and the importance of keeping their estate clean after a survey found these blocks were among the most "anti-social" blocks.

This is part of a move by the Tanjong Pagar Town Council to improve on the cleanliness of the neighbourhood. The campaign, called "Gracious Living in a Happy Block", will cover 50 blocks which have been selected based on feedback from residents.
