Hi guys out there,

It has been many moons since my last report on my progress.

Ever since Resort World Sentosa (RWS) opened. I stop going to Genting, and get my session in RWS instead.

So far to date. I made 13 trips there. As I report to you guys my winning, I will likely lost for the trip 14 to RWS. I don't know why, but every time I shared in this forum for my genting trip winning. I will lost in the next trip to Genting. Anyway, I standby the fact and I will try to turn that around and make the trip 14 to RWS a winning session.

Ok. here is the a short report.

13 trips.

11 Won

2 Lost

Result $410K.

Wishing everyone good luck. Remember. It can be done and I am still have that little greed in me. But overall, I am in control of me. Hope to kill off the little greed in me soon.

I play only Baccarat by the way. Cheers.

First casino cheat pleads guilty
By Teo Xuan Wei | Posted: 23 April 2010 1439 hrs

SINGAPORE: The first Singaporean to be charged with casino-related offences, here, pleaded guilty to his crimes on Friday morning.

Taxi-driver Loo Siew Wan, admitted to impersonating his brother to get into Resorts World at Sentosa.

The 53-year-old, who is an undischarged bankrupt, is not allowed to enter the casino but on Feb 21, the punter stole his elder brother's driver's licence and sneaked in.

While inside, he tried to cheat at the baccarat tables by placing a late bet after the winning result had already been declared.

He would have won $190 with his $200-bet had a fellow gambler not spotted him.

After he was exposed, Mr Loo took back his chips and quickly left the table.

When he was identified and questioned by a police officer later, Mr Loo tried to pass himself off as his brother by producing the stolen driver's license.

He will be sentenced on April 30.

Loo faces up to five years in jail and a fine for his offences. - CNA/fa

Marina Bay Sands gets casino licence

SINGAPORE : The Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore has issued a casino licence to Marina Bay Sands.

In a brief statement on its website, the authority said the casino operator must ensure that it remains suitable to manage and operate a casino in accordance with Section 45 of the Casino Control Act.

Marina Bay Sands is due to open its doors on Tuesday.

Staff at the integrated resort are working round the clock, gearing up for the preview opening.

It ran simulation exercises involving 2,000 guests last week to test out its system.

The integrated resort said its hotel rooms, dozens of stores, part of the exhibition and convention centre as well as some restaurants and bars will be open.

The rest of Marina Bay Sands will open in phases.

The Grand Opening will be held in June at the Sands SkyPark above the hotel towers.

The theatres, museum and Crystal Pavilions on Marina Bay will open later in the year.

Meanwhile, the Sands Expo and Convention Center will be hosting its first event from May 2.

MBS opens at 3.18pm today

S'pore's second casino offers nine games; some shops, restaurants open
By Lim Wei Chean & Ng Kai Ling

MARINA Bay Sands (MBS) has played it right down to the wire.

It secured its casino licence yesterday, barely 24 hours before Phase 1 of its opening today.

The auspicious time for the debut of the US$5.5 billion (S$7.5 billion) integrated resort: 3.18pm.

The number eight sounds similar to the word for prosperity in Chinese dialects.

It is when the casino will open - with a clutch of games approved for play only yesterday - as well as 963 of its 2,560 hotel rooms, part of the exhibition and convention centre, the outdoor events plaza, part of the shopping mall, and some restaurants.

Problem Gamblers-The Psychology

What motivates people to gamble? This article in the straits times on the 26th of april does not open up the real sober

reasons that makes people want to gamble. What motivates people to gamble-the sober reason is "Money$$$" The thought of

winning big amounts of money quickly! The regret of losing and trying to win back what they lost!Even 4D,toto,football
causes big lossess to the compulsive gambler because they spend more than they can affort to use occassionally in the
of getting a big win. When ppl are in need of money due to unforseen circumstances, they will resort to gambling to try
to get some money. The really sober reason that thrill gamblers is "EGO". The sense of satisfaction they get when they
make a correct bet and win. Those who enjoy gambling will be caught in the web and eventually be sucked into the hell
hole
THERAPY
The mental attitude is the true way of dealing and controlling gambling problems. A strong mental attitude, will power
and sensible thinking is a deciding factor in the effective control. There is NO completely effective way to stop
problem gambling. There are too many kinds of schemes to entice ppl to seek big windfalls. There is no way to stop/kill
the gambling habit, addiction, because those who do not have enough of money to use and spent will always hope to get
some through a windfall. Therapy leading to sensible thinking to control "games of chances" habits and impulsiveness.
We cannot believe what gamblers say about why they gamble because the conceal their real feelings and reasons.
It takes time to find out the truth by psychologically digging out the truth from them.An extremely unique method of
handling and controlling the compulsive gambling mentality is this. Be frank with yourself- do you feel good when you
win your bet.Addicts always feel good after eating what they are addicted to.
The real reason why gamblers commit crimes is that they need money to win back what they lost and borrowing money,
and even to the extreme of stealing from other players or the casino to get back their lossess.
99.99% of people are trying to win back what they have lost! The sober fact of gambling is you start off losing and
then try to win back what you lose. How many people can win money with the very first bet that they put?
by smart gambler
36 years of gambling,36 years of studying ppl who gamble and the gambling systems and why people lose.
In everything we do,we must try to master it. Even if we do not become a full master we are much, much better off,
maybe 50% to 90% of being a master.Teaching ppl smart gambling.

Top grad turns serial gambler

A 37-year-old man was sentenced to five years' jail on April 8 after pleading guilty to seven charges of cheating and two of not informing people that he was an undischarged bankrupt when he borrowed money from them.
By Arul John

27 April 2010

A 37-year-old man was sentenced to five years' jail on April 8 after pleading guilty to seven charges of cheating and two of not informing people that he was an undischarged bankrupt when he borrowed money from them.

The reason for Soon Bock Kiat's predicament: The one-time high-flyer was a "closet" gambler and had resorted to borrowing and a life of crime to feed his addiction.

The first-class honours accountancy graduate became an addict after he won $200,000 in 4D soon after he graduated.

He started gambling on 4D, football pools and at casinos but his luck did not hold out.

The one-time director of a health-care products distribution firm would then make bigger bets and began borrowing from friends and moneylenders – including $300,000 from his mother-in-law.

After being declared a bankrupt in February 2005, Soon convinced three of his subordinates in the company to invest in bogus investment schemes, called Lobang schemes, which he claimed could yield returns of between 15 per cent and 200 per cent.

One of them lodged a police report when he realised that Soon had cheated him.

In all, Soon repaid his victims only about $324,000 of the nearly $1.5million he cheated them of or borrowed from them.

Nineteen other charges were taken into consideration.

Anyone went to MBS yesterday?
I went, but cannot enter...:(
The levy kisok rejected both my IC and driving license  and I can't purchase my levy thru the cashier window coz they are not open. No choice, turned back and head to RWS.

Drove there last evening, the roads were a little confusing, but still manageable.
Travel by AYE, exit 17 to Marina Station Road,
turn right to Bayfront Ave and go straight, try to keep to the left lane,
turn left to Bayfront Link and the carpark entrance is on the right hand side, small entrance, two way traffics.

Thanks for the info on road directions. That's very useful.

Wonder why your IC and driving license were rejected. Was it a technical glitch ? At the levy kiosk can you pay with credit card or ? What are the accepted modes of payment at the kiosk and counter ?
