Cash box stolen

A CASH collection box used by customers to pay for newspapers was ripped from a stand at Jurong Point Shopping Centre on Saturday.
A staff member noticed the box was missing from where it was secured by a metal chain on the first floor at about 5pm.
Police reviewed closed-circuit television footage and saw a tanned man wearing a red T-shirt, brown Bermuda shorts, and a grey cap meddling with the chain.
The amount in the box is unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
