Case 64192 is a 23 year-old male India national who works as a nursing aide at All Saints Home (Hougang). He is asymptomatic, and was detected when he was tested for COVID-19 on 11 June as part of the nursing home’s surveillance testing for staff. His pooled test result came back positive for COVID-19 on 11 June, and an individual test was done on the same day. His individual test result came back negative for COVID-19 on 11 June but another test administered on 12 June came back positive for COVID-19 infection. His Ct value was very high, which is indicative of a low viral load, and his serology test result is positive. He is likely to be shedding minute fragments of the virus RNA from a past infection, which are no longer transmissible and infective to others, but we have taken all necessary public health actions. Case 64192 received his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on 10 March, and the second dose on 31 March.

"He is likely to be shedding minute fragments of the virus RNA from a past infection, which is no longer transmissible and infective to others, but we have taken all necessary public health actions."
A high CT value, typically above 30, suggests that it is not a recent infection and very likely even past the period when a person could infect others. A positive serology test suggests that the infection is not so recent.
The worker had received his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on March 10 and the second dose on March 31.
He is currently warded at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases.
Staff members and families of the residents have been notified, said All Saints Home in a media release on Sunday.
Staff and residents at the home were tested for the virus. All test results were negative.
Visitation to all nursing homes continues to be suspended till June 20.
This follows the discovery of a Covid-19 cluster at the MINDSville @ Napiri Adult Disability Home in early June, a facility in Hougang for adults with intellectual disabilities. As at June 8, there were 32 cases there.
The suspension will reduce the risk of importing Covid-19 into such settings, and the risk of cross-transmission, said MOH on June 4.
Visits to homes serving the elderly resumed last year on June 19, after being suspended for almost three months. That suspension came after a cluster of Covid-19 infections emerged at Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home in Thomson, followed by another cluster of 15 cases in Acacia Home - a welfare home in Admiralty for the destitute.

As of 18 June 2021, 12pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 14 new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection. 10 are linked to previous cases, amongst whom 5 have already been placed on quarantine, and 5 were detected through surveillance. The remaining 4 cases are currently unlinked. Based on our investigations so far, the cases are in the community, and there are no new cases in the dormitories.2. In addition, there are 2 imported cases, who have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore. Both are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
3. In total, there are 16 new cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore today.
