【星島日報報道】56歲加籍幼稚園男教師被指於去年7月，趁著學生午睡時伸手入裙褲，非禮兩名當時只有6歲女學生。男教師早前否認2項非禮罪，案件今在九龍城裁判法院續審。他被裁定表證成立，下午自辯時稱因等待午飯準備，於是打算走動舒展筋骨，從而走進案發班房。被告憶述事主X解其鞋帶，而事主Y則不停踢被，另一女童則多次扯其褲管。被告曾感到不耐煩，遂薄責她們「Enough! Stop it!」（夠了！停止！），並按著X右肩阻止她解鞋帶。案件周四繼續。
被告Robert Scott Johnson供稱，他自2001年來年，2015年到涉事幼兒園工作，而案發當日去年7月13日為其離職前最後一個工作天。
他指當日下午近1時，由於午飯仍未准備好，打算活動一下而走到涉事的班房。睡在5號牀的女童扯其褲管，而睡在旁的事主X則解他的鞋帶，事主Y就一直「踢被」。他阻止兩人動作，並為Y蓋好被子。然而3名女童動作依然，他再制止3人後，5號牀的女童再扯其褲管及嬉笑。被告稱自己有些生氣，於是扯開女童的手，並責罵她們。
被告表示自己放在女童X的右肩以制止她，但X卻捉緊其手指向前拉，被告差點失平衡，遂抓著女童的牀邊保持平衡。他指自己約1時9分就離開課室，午飯後亦一直沒有返回課室。
控方盤問時，被告解釋因廚房的熱氣外散，而另外兩間班房氣溫最低，他欲降溫而走到另外兩間班房。但又怕騷擾學生午睡，所以走到隔壁案發班房。被告又向裁判官解釋，由於案發班房的學生年紀較大，較為不受騷擾。而他認為作為一個老師，適當的身體接觸如碰膊頭等，給予學生守規的提示，屬恰當範圍。

[Sing Tao Daily reported] The 56-year-old Canadian kindergarten teacher was accused of reaching out to a culfer while taking a nap in July last year. The indecent two were only 6-year-old female students. The male teacher earlier denied two counts of indecent assault and the case was renewed in the Kowloon City Magistracy. He was found guilty of the testimony. In the afternoon, he said that he was waiting for lunch preparation, so he planned to move around and stretch into the room. The defendant recalled that the victim X had solved his shoelaces, while the victim Y kept kicking and the other girl repeatedly pulled his pants. The defendant was impatient and blamed them for "Enough! Stop it!" and pressed her right shoulder to stop her from untied. The case continues on Thursday.
The defendant, Robert Scott Johnson, confessed that he had been working in kindergarten since the year of 2001 and the last working day before his departure on July 13 last year.
He pointed out that at about 1 pm on the afternoon of the same day, because the lunch was still not ready, he planned to move to the class room where he was involved. The girl who slept on the 5th bed pulled his trousers, while the sleeping person X dispelled his shoelaces, and the victim Y always "kicked". He prevented the two from moving and covered the quilt for Y. However, the three girls still have movements. After he stopped 3 people, the girls on the 5th bed pulled their pants and laughed. The defendant claimed that he was a little angry, so he opened the girl's hand and scolded them.
The defendant stated that he was placed on the right shoulder of the girl X to stop her, but X grabbed his finger and pulled forward. The defendant almost lost balance and held the balance of the girl's bed. He said that he left the classroom at about 1:9 and did not return to the classroom after lunch.
When the prosecution interrogated, the defendant explained that the heat of the kitchen was scattered, while the other two classes had the lowest temperature. He wanted to cool down and went to the other two classes. However, I was afraid of harassing students to take a nap, so I went to the next room. The defendant explained to the magistrate that the students in the case were older and were less harassed. And he thinks that as a teacher, proper physical contact, such as touching the head, etc., gives students a hint of compliance, which is appropriate.
