Its done to placate their own grassroots PLPs and those doe-eyed PAP MP wannabes who think they have a chance to win.

PAP betrayed Hillview Ave Estate voters after wining back the ward from opposition Ling How Dong. They demolished the whole estate and dispersed the voters. What a frak is this.
I can see PAP demolished the whole estate from their shameful act of KFC TT and Woody entered the ballot area, KFC was a few meter outside the polling center door shaking hands with voters and Woody hanging outside at the car park.
They committed an election offense and yet were not charged under the Election Act.
This time Aljunied GRC voters will not be voting PAP after Pinky made many fiasco in this last 5 years.
Amos Yee case will send LHL packed and out of AMK GRC more likely.

That is the PAP suicide squad. But of course the PAP would not admit it.
Then again, it all depends on the Aljunied GRC residents. It's up to them.
Will only have a chance of success if and when people like LHL or even $8 cow, garner enough courage to lead a team there at AJ grc to give WP a fight. However, not many cowards dare to walk the talk.

Because it and its minions had spent a lot of resources to fix AHPETC. It'll be highly embarrassing for the PAP if it doesn't win Aljunied GRC now.
Friend stays in AJ remarked estate cleanliness under WP is no different compare to pap tc. Whether WP can defend their seats will very much depend on their grassroots foundation there and not how much the ground is anti pap. If they have established a good rapport with the residents there, there is no reason to fear pap smear tactic.

I don't see an upset. WP should be able to hit the 55% mark, with ease.
