with all their reasoning and desperation of having a COOLING DAY before the GE D-DAY, would the pap legislate that cooling day a NATIONAL HOLIDAY?

i think they should since they stress that cooling day is meant for all voters to cool down and think rationally before casting their sacred vote.

how to think when we are so stressed out by works? so it would be fair that they make COOLING DAY a national holiday.

but i doubt they would do that cos holiday is disadvantageous to the paps while a redundant COOLING DAY is definitely a plus in their kiasu n kiasee GE strategy.

just like admitting NMPs into parleement. does it really serve any purposes? if the nmps are like spitfire sylvia lim, then obviously that would be good as such people who dare to voice up and oppose boldly. for those like calvin cheng who sarcasticaly remarked NMP like sylvia was forced in after being a "loser" in GE and all his other craps. well, sylvia had retorted well by saying the irony of getting into parliament by an "august interview".

so does calvin make a different or does sylvia the spitfire is more useful in parleement? if calvin is just a decorative another YESman, do we really need another extra kelefe? we already got 82 YESmen. aren't that already a tad too excessive?

if all the voters demand a day off to COOL OFF before voting during GE, the paps would have to relent to scrap this redundant COOLING OFF DAY.

opp parties are given lesser media exposure time due to their meagre party strength. that itself is already a very unfair and disadvantaged condition to the opps.

this suggestion reinforced the super kiasuism and kiaseeism pap has all these days dwell and seek refuge in even though they have such big support base. what is lacking in pap is a irony they always hightlighted:

GRACIOUSNESS.

pap is ungracious and unsportsman. for the opp to win another ward, it's really a tough uphill task.

SO UNITE & QUIT ALL THOSE IN HOUSE SQUABBLINGS OVER PETTY IRRELEVANT ISSUES!!

I support public holiday for cooling day.
Better if after election also public holiday because also need to cool off for sundden win/lose.

And also free MRT service, 50% off petrol, free ERP, and top up minimum $300to each of the citizen's bank account so that they can enjoy themselves on cooling day.:oIo:

precisely! if pap thinks that a redundant cooling off day is really necessary so that they can win better, then they should dump in all the fringe benefits with it.

voting day is declared a public holiday. but the shrewd pap always does it during a saturday which is now already a holiday!

if they wanna benefit from a artificial cooling off day to enhance their votes, then they should let the voters benefit at least something like a national holiday too.

they should also provide free public transport to the voting centres and present voters with some memorable door gifts like a vibrating dildo to stick 'em arses when pap gets voted in again. this would save them the usual trouble of paps voters screwing themselves later by voting in the paps again.:p (batteries and lubes not included):D

if the cooling day works against the paps, then they would look stupid to have suggested and implemented that.

the paps have ruled for so long and yet they are showing their no confidence when the GE is nearing. why is it like that?

lst the GRC. they won very unsportsmanship through walkovers. and now this cooling day. tsk, tsk...have they been having erected for too long?
