The Biggest Lie in the Universe: Death

01. The Biggest Challenges to Science.

There is a fundamental law that scientists in the world today accept. The "Law of Conservation of Energy".

That is: "Energy in the universe cannot be destroyed. It can only be converted from one form to another."

Now think logically.

Science accepts that there is an electrochemical energy (Bio-Electricity) operating in your body.

So, what happens to that energy when the brain stops at death?

According to the laws of science, it cannot be "zero". It has to go somewhere.

Science is still searching for this. But the Buddha showed the way to that "energy flow" 2500 years ago.

02. The revelation of Abhidhamma: "Dying" is a lie!

According to Abhidharma, life is a "generation of thoughts" like a flowing river.

This is what happens when you die: The last thought of your current existence - the "chuti citta" - is born.

As soon as that chuti citta ceases, the next second, under the influence of that energy, the first thought - the "patisandhi citta" - is born in a new place (in the mother's womb or somewhere else).

This happens "instantaneously". There are no intermediate stops. It is like a wave emitted by a radio station. When the radio (body) hits the ground, that wave does not die. It connects to the next receiver (the corresponding mother's womb or a subsequent birth).

03. If "I" do not go, who is born?

A question that many intelligent people have: "If there is no soul, if there is no one, how can I be born?"

The Buddha's answer to this was excellent. He pointed out the theory of "infinite ignition".

Take an example:

You light another candle from a candle. Did the flame from the first candle go to the new one? No. So did the new one light without the old one? No. The energy of the old flame created the new flame. That's how your rebirth is!

When this body turns to ashes, only the "karmic energy" in your mind lights the next life.

There is no "person" to go there. There is only an "energy exchange".

04. Deathbed

Do you understand the danger and the most valuable secret of this?

The next life is determined by the "data" you have collected throughout your life and your "mental level" at the last moment.

What if you are afraid, angry, and greedy at the time of death? That "Negative Energy" is matched by a lower birth (animal/ghost). (Like the Resonance Theory in Physics)

But if you understand this process and free your mind by saying, "This is not me, this is a process of nature"? You can go to a higher level or even break this cycle (see Nibbana).

05. Is Nibbana the destruction of energy?

The biggest question that comes to the wise here is this: "If an energy cannot be destroyed, what happens to that energy of the mind when you see Nibbana?"

To solve this, you need to understand the "Paticchasamuppada" shown by the Buddha.

The "energy" that sends you on this journey of samsara is not something that has arisen spontaneously. It is something that is "produced".

It is produced by the generator called "craving" in your mind.

As long as you hold on to things, existence is being created.

The Buddha explained this in a beautiful parable (Aggivaccagotta Sutta):

If you stop adding wood to a burning fire, the fire will go out. If someone asks, "Where did the fire go? To the east? To the west?", that question is wrong. The fire did not go anywhere. "Because the factors necessary for existence were no longer there, the process ceased."

This is what happens when you become an arahant.

As soon as the "attachment" in your mind is gone, the next mind that arises (patisandhi) cannot jump in.

What happens there is "emptiness."

That is the highest bliss in the world. There is no suffering, no burning... absolute peace (nibbana)!

"Nibbana" in Buddhism is not the forcible destruction of existing energy.

Nibbana is "the cessation of the generation of new energy."

You have nothing to fear!

Death is not like falling into a "dark room".

It is as normal as taking off old clothes and putting on new ones.

Although science has not yet discovered it, Buddhism has shown you that "Software Code".

Think like a wise person.

You are not a person who will die. You are an unstoppable flow of energy in the universe.

Your only responsibility is to purify that energy. May you realize the truth!
