KITTERY, Maine — A fire on a $900 million nuclear submarine caused injuries to six people and was still burning
early this morning. The fire burned for 10 hours last night aboard the nuclear-powered Los Angeles class attack
submarine USS Miami while she was in drydock at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kitterey, Me.
