BREAKING : Explosions heard over Venezuelan capital Caracas amid US tensions. Venezuelan President Maduro captured!

@metanoia

Is it just me looking at past history and watching US starting to prevent the coming of WWIII before it is too late?

Russia ( is like the WWII German Nazi)
Russia's invasion of Ukraine violates international law, specifically constituting an illegal act of aggression. The invasion violates core tenets of the UN Charter, particularly Article 2(4), which prohibits the use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state.
China (is like the WWII Japan) over Taiwan &
its increasingly assertive patrols and military presence, using coast guard, maritime militia, and naval vessels to enforce expansive territorial claims, especially around disputed features like Scarborough Shoal and Second Thomas Shoal, often leading to tense encounters with Philippine and other regional vessels, in a strategy to solidify control over vital shipping lanes and resources. These actions are frequently in response to allied patrols (US, Japan, Australia) and fuel regional tensions, with China asserting its claims while others, like the Philippines, resist its encroachment through joint exercises and confronting Chinese vessels with water cannons and aggressive maneuvers.

Recent Incidents:
  • Scarborough Shoal: Tensions remain high, with aggressive Chinese maneuvers, including vessel collisions, following Philippine presence.
  • Second Thomas Shoal: China has used water cannons and physically blocked Philippine resupply missions to the BRP Sierra Madre.
  • Batanes Islands: Chinese coast guard vessels have “bracketed” islands near the northern Philippines, a U.S. treaty ally

14 Mar 2024 — The CCG also turned watercannons on Philippine government and civilian ships around Second Thomas and Scarborough Shoal...

  • The U.S. reaffirms its defense commitment to the Philippines.
  • Japan, Australia, France, and others join the U.S. and Philippines in naval exercises.
  • A 2016 arbitration ruling, rejected by China, found its claims within the nine-dash line lacked legal basis.

5 Nov 2025 — Earlier this year China began to treat the presence of Philippine vessels around Scarborough and other contested rocks around

Shouldnt Europe stop Russia while US stop China and it allies?

It is scary to see a repeat of WWII and US had to step in after calls from Churchill and bombing of Pearl harbour to help france, rest of Europe.

She was backing up, then saw the agent in front of her car so slammed it into forward gear to run him down. She deserves her fate. Serves her right. I hope other Karens take note and stay way from ICE operations all they'll suffer the same fate.
A moron like you will never learn. If she had the real intention of running him down, why was the vehicle's front wheels were turned in the right direction when clearly in broad daylight that the ICE agent was standing at the front left side of the vehicle. Shouldn't its front wheels be turned in the left direction for a direct hit? Probably that could have saved her life because that ICE agent would have been injured, fallen onto the ground and has no chance to shoot at her unless his colleague will then open fire at her instead. Enough of reasoning with you on this case as you are as adamant as that orange monkey.

To be fair, I do agree that this tragedy could have been averted if she had only complied to the ICE agent's demand of getting down from the vehicle, but by not complying still doesn't grant the ICE agent to shoot at her at point blank.

In a January 8, 2026 interview with The New York Times, U.S. President Donald Trump addressed China's claim over Taiwan, stating that It is "up to" Chinese President Xi Jinping what China does regarding the island.
Acknowledgment of Xi's View: Trump stated, "He (Xi) considers it to be a part of China, and that's up to him what he's going to be doing
Status Quo Policy: The Trump administration continues to officially acknowledge the "One China" policy while maintaining the legal requirement to provide Taiwan with defensive means.

That is Trump's view. How about the Taiwanese's view?

After Taiwan, who will be next? Asean countries? People forget very fast OBOR and Kra Canal.

We won't know her real intentions because she's dead. The fact is the agent reacted in self defense based upon his perception that his life was in danger. He's already been dragged down the road by a protester a few months prior to this incident and could easily have been killed then. I'm sure he had no intention of hanging around and doing nothing the second time round.

Exactly, such a person who had been traumatized before should not be put in the frontline again. Why can't he be transferred to a desk bound job instead?

Trump remarked, "I don’t need international law," but clarified that it "depends on your definition of international law," asserting himself as the ultimate authority on such boundaries.

He should have shot the first protestor too... the one that put him in hospital. Nobody should fuck around with law enforcement.

Looking at how Russia and China dont follow the international law, can a law biding country get them to do it?
No doubt 2 wrongs do not make a right, how do you handle an unreasonable person with reason or unlawful person with law?
Even ICC cannot haul Putin to the court. How do your do it if not by force?

International law is a joke. Rather than bring about a rules based system which everyone agrees upon all it has done is protect numerous rogue states from being taken to task.

Examples are Russia's abuse of red notices to harass and detain Putin's enemies abroud, China's use of veto power to hide its human rights abuses and Iran's exploitation of the Nuclear Safeguards agreement to develop a nuclear program under the guise of peaceful proliferation of nuclear energy. By the way Trump had to deal with that one too by blowing up the whole facility. Thank goodness we have Trump in charge he's doing wonders in making the world a much safer place.

They don't just ignore international law they actually make use of the protection afforded by international law to further their own domestic agendas. Without Trump Iran would probably have gone nuclear by now.

To cut it short, this video would summarize with clear explanation and without any doubt, rebuke your (still) bias views of the victim. If you still think that someone who had just said to you: “That’s fine, dude, I’m not mad at you” will want to run you down the next minute and despite her vehicle's front wheels were clearly seen being turned to the right direction and away from the ICE agent, then I think you are totally disillusioned. May That Dead Soul Bless You.

I doubt very much the ICE agent could have seen which way her wheels were turned all he saw was a crazy Karen driving straight at him.

Anyway one less Karen is always a good thing regardless of whether the shooting was justified. Life goes on and more Karens need to be dealt with.

You are indeed a total moron without any doubt. No medication could cure you. No wonder you are single and lonely.

Would she still need to reverse if she had wanted to ram him down? Her vehicle's front wheels were already pointed at the ICE agent before the reverse operation. Just put into Drive gear and he would definitely be struck in one way or another.

Luckily she was not driving a Tesla or Elon would have been to blame.

after WWII and forming of UN Assembly, there is no international to start with, what law are you talking about, except IMF, World Bank, UNICEF/UNESCO or WHO to name a few?

Everything that Trump is doing is lawful. Laws were ignored in the past and Trump is now enforcing them. If that is considered to be "surreal" you certainly have a strange way of looking at the world. Civil society relies up the laws of the country being followed and also provides mechanisms to change the laws when necessary. Past administrations simply ignored laws with impunity for political gain and the whole country suffered as a result.

In the meantime the greatest President in the world is fixing things that should have been dealt with years ago.
If what you're saying is true, then you ought to tell US's allies that they should not be concerned and alarmed at what's happening, that what Trump is doing is good for everyone (both local and overseas). That their disbelief is unfounded. And see if you're one with a strange way of looking at the world.

US "allies" have been ripping off the USA for decades. None of them like Trump because he has put them in their place and revealed their hypocrisy for the world to see.

He told them not to depend on Russian gas in his first term and they just smirked. Just look at the situation now so guess who has had the last laugh.

To be honest I'd venture to suggest that the traditional allies have drifted so far left they have little in common with the Trump administration. They'd probably get along far better with Putin if they just kissed and made up. Putin could teach them a thing or two about dealing with dissent and fixing opponents which is the path the West is now taking.

They were "ripping off" the US because of what the US presents itself as. A rich powerful overseer that will take care of matters as long as you pledge allegiance. Hence, the US was happy to pay the lion's share. And when told they need to step up, all of them did.

Trump and his admin attempted to kiss Putin's ass and was rebuffed. None of the allies stooped so low. And speaking of Russian oil and gas, allies like Hungary, Slovakia, India, Turkey are merely looking out for their own national interests. Just like what the US is doing is looking out for its own interest. If the US can do it, why can't others? This is typical US arrogance on display, which the rest of us cannot tahan.

The US is the most powerful country in the world. No other nation even comes close. Russia is a basket case in comparison. Just look at the way it's bogged down in Ukraine.

It is up to other countries to tow the line. That's how power works.
