U cant have a anti Malay/Muslim dap guy to hold such an important role like FM. Just hope the cheena voters r wiser this time round. But i m quite pessimistic.
Any DAP in any malusial portfolio will be racist non the less but if Anawar to become a PM , than DAP will be largest party within the coalition ....and some important ministries will be take up by DAP , the utmost important bing home ministry , even if imprint ministries are only held by Malay ministers , the DAP can still pull strings ...let’s see how it goes , sometimes it’s better the population learns by babtism by fire to know what they caused by their very votings

To be honest with u. If Dap guys were again to hold important role in parliament, i fear for Msia. If dap knows wat is good for his race, the country its best they learn to give and take. U dont take on a dorminant race. U play racial politics. U are playing with fire. Tats very unwise.

KUALA LUMPUR: Despite claims by Mr Anwar Ibrahim that he has garnered a majority to topple the current government, Istana Negara said on Tuesday (Oct 13) that the opposition leader did not produce a list of names of those backing him during a royal audience.
In a statement, Comptroller of the Royal Household Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said the meeting between King Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Mr Anwar on Tuesday lasted for about 25 mins.
“In this meeting, Mr Anwar had presented the number of Members of Parliament who he claims are in support of him. However, he did not present a list of names of these parliamentarians to back his claims.
“In relation to that, the king had advised Mr Anwar to obey and respect the due process of law as per the Federal Constitution,” Mr Ahmad Fadil said.

Following the royal audience, Mr Anwar said in a press conference that he had met the king and presented a list of those in support of his government.
He said the king will study the relevant documents, while consulting the leaders of various political parties.
Mr Anwar said: "With these documents, it is abundantly clear that we have registered a formidable, convincing majority among parliamentarians.
"I would appeal to Malaysians to exercise patience, wisdom and to allow the king to digest, decide based on the spirit of the Constitution and the discretion of his Highness."
He added that the current government led by Mr Muhyiddin Yassin had fallen.
Mr Anwar was initially scheduled to meet the king on Sep 22 but the meeting was postponed as the king was hospitalised for food poisoning. The king was later discharged on Oct 2.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim said on Tuesday (Oct 13) that the king will study relevant documents he has presented on the members of parliament (MPs) backing his bid to form a new government, while consulting the leaders of various political parties.
Speaking at a press conference after an audience with King Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at the Istana Negara, Mr Anwar said: "With these documents, it is abundantly clear that we have registered a formidable, convincing majority among parliamentarians.

Mr Anwar also stressed that Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has lost his parliamentary majority and it would be appropriate for him to resign.

He added that his audience with the king was not about victory or defeat, but to build a country that is "progressive and fair" to overcome COVID-19 and boost the economy.
Mr Anwar added that he was aware of some concerns expressed that the list of MPs backing him were mostly Malay-Muslim bumiputera.
In addressing this, Mr Anwar said: "Let me reiterate and categorically assure Malaysians at large - this is Malaysia and we have to accord rights to every single citizen in this country."

Responding to questions from journalists, Mr Anwar also confirmed that he has more than 120 MPs backing his bid.
He added that his government will be "an inclusive government" and that there was no "political or personal vendetta" against anyone.
However, he maintained that there has been no "deals" made with any individuals.
"It's very important to appreciate that I have already made it abundantly clear that we are committed to institutional reform, judicial independence and the rule of law. So there's no question about cutting deals with individuals, as alleged by some parties - that's completely irrelevant and irresponsible," said Mr Anwar.

However, Istana Negara issued a statement on Tuesday indicating that while Mr Anwar had presented the number of MPs who he claims are in support of him, he did not present a list of names to the king.
Meanwhile, Democratic Action Party's secretary-general Lim Guan Eng has also confirmed that he has been summoned to the palace to meet the king.
Mr Anwar's meeting with the king came almost three weeks after he announced on Sep 23 that he has a “strong, formidable, convincing majority” of MPs to oust Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
His scheduled audience with the king a day earlier had to be postponed as the latter was hospitalised for food poisoning. The king was later discharged on Oct 2.
The king plays a largely ceremonial role in Malaysia but he could appoint a prime minister who in his view is likely to command a majority in parliament. He could also dissolve parliament and trigger elections on the premier's advice.
Mr Anwar had said he commanded support from close to two-thirds of parliament's 222 lawmakers, without giving actual numbers or disclosing who had pledged support.
Mr Muhyiddin, whose seven-month-old coalition has survived on a razor-thin majority, has cast doubt over Mr Anwar's claims and has called for him to prove his majority.
A list of 121 MPs who purportedly backed Mr Anwar was widely circulated, which led to a police investigation following the lodging of six police reports.
Police said an investigation has been initiated under Section 505(b) of the Penal Code over “the spread of rumours that can cause fear and alarm to the public” and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for the sharing of false, offensive or menacing content.
Mr Anwar has been summoned by the police to give a statement.

Mr Anwar, who is the president of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), was elected MP for Port Dickson in a by-election in October 2018, five months after Pakatan Harapan (PH) dethroned Barisan Nasional (BN) in the general election to form the federal government.

Mr Anwar, who was serving a jail term for sodomy at the time the general election was held, was granted a royal pardon days after PH’s shock victory.
He was tipped to be Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s successor for the prime minister’s post under the PH regime, but it had collapsed earlier this year when a group of MPs from PKR and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) defected to join forces with rival MPs.
Mr Muhyiddin Yassin, president of Bersatu, is currently leading the Perikatan Nasional (BN) government comprising the defectors as well as lawmakers from BNand Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS).
Mr Anwar, in his Sep 23 announcement, had declined to name the MPs who are now aligned with him.
Several politicial parties in the ruling camp, such as Malaysian Chinese Association and PAS, have publicly denied supporting him.
United Malays National Organisation president Ahmad Zahid Hamid said he was aware that MPs from his party as well BN have voiced their support for Mr Anwar and that he respects their decision.
However, PN secretary-general Hamzah Zainuddin said in a statement on Monday that MPs from BN, Gabungan Parti Sarawak and Parti Bersatu Sabah have pledged their strong support for Mr Muhyiddin as Malaysia’s eighth prime minister.

Malaysian Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim said he presented the nation's king with evidence that he has enough support among politicians to topple the Prime Minister and form a new government, an assertion the palace denied.
Key points:
  • Mr Anwar did not reveal the members who he claims are backing him, the palace said
  • It is up to Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah to decide the next steps
  • If Mr Anwar succeeds, it will mark a dramatic comeback after a roller-coaster political journey
Mr Anwar said he presented the monarch with evidence of the support he has from more than 120 members of parliament, which would allow him to unseat Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
He declined to give details, urging Malaysians to be patient and give the king space to review the evidence.
The palace said Mr Anwar only provided the number of members backing his bid to become prime minister, but not their identities.

It is now up to Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah to decide the next steps in Malaysia's power struggle, which comes as it grapples with an economy battered by the novel coronavirus and a new surge in infections.
"These documents made it abundantly clear that we have registered a formidable and convincing majority among parliamentarians," Mr Anwar told a news conference after the royal meeting.
"Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has lost his majority and therefore, it would be appropriate for him to resign."
The palace released a statement denying that Mr Anwar provided evidence of support soon after the news conference.
It said the King advised Mr Anwar "to abide by and respect the legal process" based on the constitution.
A decades-long quest for the leadership

If Mr Anwar succeeds, it will mark a dramatic comeback after his roller-coaster political journey since the 1990s.
It would also mean Malaysia would have its third prime minister this year.
Once a high-flyer in the ruling party, Mr Anwar was convicted of homosexual sodomy and corruption after a power struggle with former prime minister Mahathir Mohamed in 1998.
He was imprisoned for a second time for sodomy in 2014.
Mr Anwar and his supporters have long denied the sodomy allegations, saying they were concocted to destroy his political career.
The King plays a largely ceremonial role but he can appoint a prime minister who in his view is likely to command a majority.
New governments are usually elected in Malaysia but the King plays a role in certain instances.

If the King is not convinced of Mr Anwar's majority, he would likely allow Mr Muhyiddin to stay on.
The King could also call a general election on the advice of the Prime Minister.
Mr Muhyiddin, who took power in March after securing enough support in Parliament to unseat Mr Anwar's reformist alliance, has previously dismissed Mr Anwar's claim to a majority.
Mr Muhyiddin currently boasts a slim two-seat majority in the 222-seat Parliament and has been grappling to maintain support amid infighting in his coalition.
Allies in Mr Muhyiddin's Malay-centric ruling coalition also denied supporting Mr Anwar, and branded Mr Anwar a "desperado" for seeking to wrest power as the country struggles with the coronavirus.
The audience with the King was slated three weeks ago, but postponed as the King was hospitalised.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said on Tuesday (Oct 13) that he will "leave it to the best judgment of the king", after opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim claimed he has a parliamentary majority to form a new government.

In his first group interview since being sworn in as prime minister in March this year, Mr Muhyiddin said his focus was on managing the COVID-19 pandemic and the economy.

"I don't want to comment on what Anwar did at the palace," he stated.

"As far as I’m concerned, I leave it to the best judgement of the Agong. The Agong I think is the most learned and qualified person. He has got his own way of doing things as per provided by the constitution."

He added: "Whatever decision he will make, he is always following what is provided by the constitution."

Mr Muhyiddin was speaking to the press via video conferencing as he is currently under a 14-day home quarantine, after a minister who attended a meeting he chaired tested positive for COVID-19.

He added that when Mr Anwar was meeting the king, he was engaged in a video conference with all the members of the National Security Council (MKN) about the COVID-19 issue.

Mr Muhyiddin, who is the president of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), had pulled the party of the PH coalition in late February to form the Perikatan Nasional government with lawmakers from Barisan Nasional and Parti Islam Se-Malaysia.

This political tussle at the federal level, which was put on hold for six months while the country fought the pandemic, has returned to the forefront with Mr Anwar claiming on Sep 23 that he had the majority of support from Malaysian parliamentarians.

Earlier at 2pm on Tuesday, Mr Anwar had announced that he had been in audience with King Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to present evidence of support for him as prime minister.

More leaders from other political parties are expected to meet with the king in the coming days, he said.

The palace, however, said Mr Anwar had merely mentioned the number of MPs said to be supporting him but did not present a name list.

In criticising Mr Anwar, Bersatu information chief Wan Saiful Wan Jan said in a statement on Tuesday that the opposition leader has lied about commanding a majority.

He suggested to Mr Anwar to retire from politics if this is just a "desperate strategy" of his to threaten the stability of the government."It is obvious today that Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin still has the support to continue leading the Perikatan Nasional government," he said.

CMCO IN SELANGOR, KL AND PUTRAJAYA NECESSARY

On COVID-19, Mr Muhyiddin defended the federal government's decision to impose a conditional movement control order (CMCO) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, which was announced on Monday.

it is a necessary preemptive and proactive step to curtail the spread of the virus, he said.

Cases have been recorded across all districts in Selangor and there was an upward trend, he said.

"So I think it is a correct move made by MKN (yesterday), which I chair, to declare the whole state of Selangor under CMCO to make sure, on the basis of preemptive and proactive actions that MKN has done, we can curtail the COVID-19 pandemic in the state of Selangor," he said.

Mr Muhyiddin said despite reducing people’s movement through, for instance, closure of schools, economic activities would not be impacted.

“It’s not just industries, but all economic activities,” Mr Muhyiddin said, adding that most businesses could continue to operate.

“We understand there must be a proper strike of balance between life and livelihood,” the prime minister said.

Up until September, the pandemic appeared to be under control in Malaysia between June till August as the country reopened gradually under the recovery movement control order.

The highest number of new daily cases recorded was on Oct 6, with 691 cases. As of Tuesday, Malaysia had 5,345 active cases out of 16,880 recorded cases, and 163 deaths.

The sharp rise was due in part to the surge in travel to and from Sabah for the recently concluded state election at the end of last month.

Malaysia: King taking time to study documents and consult other party leaders to verify alleged majority support claim, says opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim - The Online Citizen
Roxanne

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA — Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim said on Tuesday (13 October) that the nation’s King is deliberating on the proof he presented to support his claim of having the required majority to form a new government.
The Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president told reporters at a press conference after meeting the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at the Istana Negara today that the King will be taking time to study the relevant documents and consult other party leaders in the process.
“With these documents, it is clear that we have obtained a formidable, convincing majority among parliamentarians,” said Anwar, who claimed that his support count had exceeded 120 MPs.
Anwar also claimed that Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has lost his parliamentary majority and that he ought to step down from the post as a result.
Stating that this is an “inclusive government”, he expressed that he would not deny anyone to participate as he was asked about the members from opposing political parties.
Responding to a reporter’s query on whether former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad was included in the list of MPs purportedly supporting him, the opposition leader responded that the list of MPs will be released later.
Anwar was granted an audience with Al-Sultan Abdullah at the National Palace in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur this morning.
After over an hour, the 73-year-old rolled down the car window to greet the reporters who were waiting under the sun as he left the Palace at 11:30am.
The meeting this morning followed Anwar’s previous claim on 23 September that he had majority support from the Members of Parliament (MP) to form a government.
He mentioned late September that the current government led by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin “has fallen”.

the only Hindus that eat Babi in Indian are the Pariahs and since @ A Singaporean is advocating Babi culture ,i have proven beyond any reasonable doubt that @ A Singaporean is indeed a Pariah

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's national palace has postponed audiences with the king for allies of opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, senior opposition leaders said on Wednesday (Oct 14), amid a fresh tussle for the country's premiership.
Anwar had on Tuesday met with King Al-Sultan Abdullah to prove that he has a "convincing" parliamentary majority to form a new government, sparking a fresh bout of political wrangling just months after Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin rose to the post.
READ: Anwar did not present list of MPs backing him: Istana Negara
In a statement, the top leaders of the opposition Democratic Action Party (DAP) and Amanah said they had initially been summoned for separate audiences with the king.
"However, last night His Majesty's senior private secretary informed us that both sessions with His Majesty have been postponed," read the statement, signed off by DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng and Amanah President Mohamad Sabu.
They did not say if new dates had been set.
At a news conference on Tuesday, Anwar said he had presented documents to the king to prove he had the support of over 120 lawmakers in the 222-seat parliament.
But the palace later said in a statement that Anwar had submitted the number of lawmakers that he said supported him, but not the identities of his supporters.

KUALA LUMPUR: UMNO is mulling the idea of withdrawing its support for Perikatan Nasional (PN) and will set new terms in writing to continue its political cooperation with the ruling coalition.
UMNO secretary-general Ahmad Maslan said the matter was agreed unanimously at the party’s Supreme Council’s Political Bureau meeting, which ended late Tuesday night (Oct 13).
He added that Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will be notified of the party’s decision and new terms on Wednesday.
“All state UMNO liaison body chairmen and Supreme Council members, including those undergoing quarantine, agree with the decision,” he told reporters at the lobby of the UMNO headquarters after the meeting.
UMNO president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is scheduled to have an audience with King Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at 5pm on Thursday, the secretary-general added.
The five-hour dual-session meeting chaired by Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was attended by his deputy Mohamad Hassan and all party wing leaders.
Ahmad Maslan said the meeting also suggested to the Muafakat Nasional (MN) steering committee that MN be immediately registered as a legitimate political coalition.
He stressed that UMNO viewed political stability as being very important and economic growth must be enhanced.
When asked if UMNO would pull out immediately from PN if the coalition refuses to accept the new terms, Ahmad Maslan said further discussions would be held.
He said the decision was made based on the political situation in the country, after opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim had an audience with the king on Tuesday.
Anwar Ibrahim claimed he has the support of more than 120 members of Parliament, adding that that the king would be calling on party heads for input and to confirm the documents submitted by the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president.
Istana Negara said on Tuesday that Anwar Ibrahim did not produce a list of names of those backing him during a royal audience.
