Now and then I receive cold calls from telemarketers trying to offer me some form of financial services or other......

Well..... the irritating thing is their spoken English ...... either duckalog or mumbai cheeby.....

Why can't our banks employ locals? I would rather support locals......

Employers should keep in mind the Singaporeans First policy, please. I propose we give our custom to local telemarketers only. We should show the employers that it pays to hire local labour, and not outsource these jobs to companies in Banana-land or Bollywood.....

And when I get unsolicited calls from Tiongland ladies with their cheeby "ni-how!", my first response would be...."Can you speak English, please?" This would inevitably put off the farking Ah Tiong Bu scammers......

cut costs, but charge you more for their service..one "member" card company, you call customer service, the ring tone is "bear, bear, bear, bear ( flat tone)" you straitghaway know, where you are connected...and the ladies answering the phone with their accent, you know which country!! I give you a hint, their Indian ladies speak English..with an unmistakable accent..good spoken English though & their Chinese ladies..too, want a hint? their Chinese pronounce Flower in Mandarin as "fah" instead of the correct one as "hua"..to them, that is correct.

Guess the country?..cut cost mah!..you pay more!! more, more, more!!
