Those are mealworms. They are perfectly safe for human consumption . They are certainly no reason to boycott that brand. It happens.

There are countless worms and eggs in the daily food we consume. No way to clean them up fully and they are safe to consume anyway. The USA FDA even has standards on acceptable number of worms per pound of vegetable like broccoli and cauliflower.

Tats why I only eat cooked food nowadays as this will kill the microscopic worms.

Btw, there're even insects living inside your face pores, feeding on your oil, and insects growing in you tummy too. Everyone has them, get used to it.
