Body of woman, 66, found floating in waters at Punggol Waterway Park​

Police are investigating.

The body of a woman was found floating in the waters at Punggol Waterway Park along Punggol Walk on Sep. 28.


The Singapore Police Force said they received a call for assistance at 6:50am.
The body of a 66-year-old woman was subsequently retrieved from the waters and pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic.

Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the police had already cordoned off the area and set up a blue tent at around 8:40am.
A pair of pink slippers was seen next to the tent.
