年初四部分醫院診所恢復正常看診，一早就湧進求診民眾，除了流感病患居多之外，像是感冒或飲食不正常，引發的腸胃炎，增加30%，另外春節塞車或打牌，引起的泌尿系統發炎，也佔了一半。

小病患「酷酷嫂」，幾乎都戴上口罩，好不容易捱到醫院開診，焦急的父母立刻帶小孩來報到，就怕過年南來北往，病毒傳來傳去，流感病毒仍處高峰，大人小孩不能掉以輕心，但就算不是流感，諾羅病毒、輪狀病毒引發的腸胃型感冒，或者大吃大喝造成腸胃不適，年後門診竟然暴增30%。

年假症候群還不只拉肚子，泌尿科門診同樣擠爆。一直想小便、小便出現血尿，嚇壞一堆男士女士，一半以上的病患，都是因為過年憋尿憋太久，造成身體不適。

包括三總、慈濟、北醫等醫院，初四提前恢復正常門診，台大、榮總、長庚，則要初五才全面恢復。
