Increasing the frequency of the trains would only add more stress, wear and tear to the trains and tracks.

Result? More breakdowns, more delays.

Reduce the population to 4 million, otherwise nothing will improve.

The core MRT infrastructure was built with a population of 3 million in mind.

Alright, I have cooled down. It is not the message itself but the delivery which I am in no mood to accept. I have written to LHL about the great number of playgrounds which the town councils installed that see lack of use. Whoever had the idea obviously have no kids or have a motive to have them installed. It is either too hot or it is raining and these playgrounds made in China deteriorate pretty fast in our type of weather.

I have also written to a few ministries eg to Ministry of Trade and Industry about the cheap and dangerous toys sold openly in most shops. There is no regulations and consumers are often cheated of their money as some of them do not work after opening them up. There was no protection for the consumers against such malpratices.

I have also written to LHL about the lack of parking spaces for bicycles at the MRT stations a few years ago. The mindset to build carparks but not bicycle parks suggests that the government only cares for the rich (or milk the rich) but care nothing for riders who parked their bicycles in inclement weather.

You know all these were replied with an acknowledgement, yet no action had been taken until lately.

One thing I noted, m,y letter to NEA about residents going for holidays should ensure they lock up their homes but take action not to breed mozzies were taken up. Best of all, they did not say where the idea originated from.

Agree with you brother. There is no way to increase the frequency by alot because all the lines are connected through an interchange station. By overworking the train system, this is a recipe for more breakdowns also. The only way is to reduce the population. Assholes such as tonychat should be banished to the sister's islands
