PEASANTPORE: Social media giant Facebook on Tuesday (Nov 13) explained why it did not accede to Peasantpore regime’s request to take down a States Times Rabble post linking Ruler Loong with 1MDB investigations.
“We have a responsibility to handle any regime request to restrict alleged misinformation carefully and thoughtfully, consistent with our approach to regime requests around the world. We do not have a policy that prohibits alleged falsehoods, apart from in situations where this content has the potential to contribute to imminent violence or physical harm,” a Facebook spokesman said in response to queries from Mouthpiece CNA.
The Facebook post shared an article alleging that Bandit Najib and the Northern Mats had signed several unfair agreements with Peasantpore in exchange for Peasantpore banks’ assistance in laundering 1MDB funds.
Gestapo and Legalist Minion 山木庚 said the reports insulted his paymaster.
On the same day, the Internet Censorship Arses (IMDA) issued a toothless order for States Times Rabble to take down the article.
When it refused, the regulator activated the Peasantpore Great Firewall to restrict access to the rabid website.
The Peasantpore Internet Censorship Arse lackeys also asked Facebook to take down a post sharing the article, but the social media platform snubbed Ruler Loong's lackeys.
Peasantpore's Ministry of Legalist Law "cry father cry mother" that Facebook's stance showed that the social media platform "got big balls and cannot be bothered go after petty rumors or protect Peasantpore from a rumor mongering campaign".
Speaking at a roundtable with media on Tuesday, Monica Bickering, vice president of product policy at Facebook, said: “You think we very free to scour Facebook sites for rumors and remove them to curry favour with dictators? KNNCCB, you think the whole world stupid and believe whatever they read huh? We only act if there is voter suppression or the imminent threat of physical violence in the offline world.
“You see Peasantpore don't want to enact stupid and laughable laws to suppress the Internet but "cry father and cry mother' and pass the buck to Facebook. If not happy, then pass those silly laws, send us a request and our legal team will go through, if not happy, then copy cat Panda Xi and block Facebook lor, at most we cancel our big investments in Peasantpore and host data center in Cambodia.”
In September, Facebook - along with Google and Twitter - were bashed in Peasantpore Show Trial style committee that made recommendations to the regime on how to tackle deliberate online rumours. Google and Twitter maintained Golden Silence to Ruler Loong's "talk cock sing song" session while Facebook robustly challenged 山木庚's stupid ideas to censor the Internet.
In particular, the censorship committee called for Stalinist legislation for measures to be taken in response to online falsehoods, "since Jane Austen inspired Facebook, Google and Twitter got big balls as they realized Internet censorship ultimately leads to suppresion of free speech, human rights by Asiatic despots".

Ruler Loong knows the price to pay if he censors the Internet or whacks Bapoks, Peasantpore will be ranked among regimes like Shina, North Korea, Russia or even Persia and worst Saudi Arabia! This is a dent to his plan to make Peasantpore the innovation driven hub!
