Whether in the animal kingdom or humans, the male of the species is mostly the one doing the chasing. Only time the male can succeed is when the female decided that this particular male possesses the qualities she is looking for and thus worth slowing down for and opening the legs for. Only then, is a mating is possible. Otherwise, the mating is either zilch for the male or known as 'rape'.
Some female of the species are particularly expert in the art of manipulation. Where the male is very much possessing the superior qualities wanted by the female (money, looks and especially power), the female will appear to be swooned by the male, or the devoted one doing the chasing. This is done not only to win the heart of the male, but also to give the male the false impression that, yes, indeed he is the wanted one and thus, very superior. But, indeed, he would have fallen into the foxhole oredi.
Just be careful, when the circumstances turn and the male is no longer in possession of the wanted qualities, often times the vixen will show its tail and then, off the male goes, machiam, the black widow. So, remember, 最毒女人心.
