Personally i agree with the last 4 points of the article.. but the 1st point about productivity... what do you think? Should pay and promotions to be pegged to productivity?

if pay was pegged to productivity,our ministers pay would be somewhere around zimbabwe president's pay now.
 
The company I work for practice abusive promotion. Means whoever is very productive are given promotion that its salary increment does not go inline with the extra job scopes. This resulted in most workers trying their best not to be productive.
